Korn's second album, Life Is Peachy, turned 30 on Thursday, October 15, and the band's official store marked the day with a six-piece anniversary capsule. Every piece is on pre-order, expected to ship in mid-November, and each product page carries the same line: "Celebrating 30 years of Life Is Peachy."

The pieces

The hoodie is the one to look at: a bone-coloured pullover with the album's sepia cover photo across the front and Life Is Peachy scrawled down both sleeves, $85 in an 80/20 cotton and recycled polyester fleece. The Cover Tee ($45) keeps the front to a small Korn and Life Is Peachy 30th Anniversary print and puts the cover and a tracklist on the back, with gold foil. A garment-dyed Shadow Face Tee is also $45, and the 30 Years Long Sleeve, enzyme washed and printed front, back and right sleeve, is $65.

The rest is a heather black cap ($40) with KoRn on the front and Life Is Peachy on the back, both embroidered in gold, and a limited-edition 18x24 screen-printed poster with gold foil for $75.

And a hot sauce

HEATONIST, the hot sauce shop, launched Spice is Peachy alongside it: a limited-edition Korn sauce for $12, on pre-sale, with orders shipping from October 26. It's mild, rated 3 out of 10 on HEATONIST's own scale, and built on peach, onion, corn, jalapeño and serrano peppers. Korn's store already sells the 30th anniversary vinyl, an amber marbled LP exclusive to the band's store and a black pressing, which it listed in August.

The read

Life Is Peachy came out on October 15, 1996, on Immortal and Epic, produced by Ross Robinson, and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. The anniversary merch doesn't try to reinvent it: it's the cover photo, the hand-drawn logo and a lot of gold, on blanks that are a step up from a tour tee (garment-dyed, enzyme-washed, foil prints).

It's small and priced like band merch, not a fashion collab, and that's the point: it's built for the people who owned the CD. Korn hasn't said whether any of it is limited beyond the poster, or whether more is coming for the anniversary.
