BAPE BLACK's Fall/Winter 2026 Collection Pairs Leather Bikers With Boro Patchwork, Led by Jay Park

BAPE has announced the Fall/Winter 2026 collection for BAPE BLACK®, its high-end line, on its Japan site. The brand's own heading calls it "A new street luxury born from a Gothic rebellious spirit and Japanese craftsmanship." Jay Park fronts the campaign, and BAPE splits the season into two themes, "Gothic Dune Rider" and "The Black Boro Artisan."

BAPE's page gives no release date. It says the collection "will be released sequentially" at BAPE STORE® Ginza, BAPE STORE® COMME DES GARÇONS Osaka and BAPE.COM, and that some items won't be sold in BAPE's stores. The page itself shows no publication date.

Gothic Dune Rider

The first theme is the rock-and-motorcycle one. BAPE lists oversized real-leather biker jackets, leather down vests and MA-1 bombers with a bandana print, plus a gradient fur cardigan and fur outerwear with leather trim, firefighter-style clasp buckles and metal ornaments. Washed workwear with contrasting leather details and a cap with motorcycle-inspired metal ornaments round it out.

The leather piece is priced on the page: the Belted Leather Biker, in black, is ¥220,000 including tax, the most expensive garment priced on the page. A Heavy Washed Denim Jacket in light indigo is ¥99,000, Washed Chore Work Pants in black are ¥82,500 and a Washed Gothic Cap is ¥27,500.

The Black Boro Artisan

The second theme borrows from boro, the Japanese tradition of mending cloth with patches. BAPE lists a hybrid patchwork kimono (¥121,000), a Sashiko Patchwork Shirt (¥88,000) and Sashiko Patchwork Jeans (¥77,000), all in light indigo, and describes handcrafted patchwork across the denim. BAPE also lists cardigans and sweatshirts with landscape graphics inspired by Japanese scenery.

Tops are priced too: a black Patchwork Mad Face Boro Zip Hoodie is ¥63,800, a Studded BAPE® Tee is ¥36,300 and a Pocket Tee in black or white is ¥33,000.

Silver and the line's history

Jewelry is 925 sterling silver and engraved with BAPE's Mad Face motif: signet, relief and logo rings from ¥41,800 to ¥49,500, earrings at ¥38,500 and ¥41,800, a Mad Face pendant necklace at ¥110,000, and bracelets at ¥110,000 and ¥154,000. BAPE says BAPE BLACK® debuted in 2015 as a high-end diffusion line built on the colour black, with luxury materials and jewelry that set it apart from the main line.
