Kai Cenat's Vivet Just Proved It's a Real Fashion Label, Not a Merch Drop
Kai Cenat's clothing label Vivet showed its first collection on September 12 at Cipriani in Lower Manhattan, during New York Fashion Week — a runway show with 41 looks, not a pop-up or a merch table. Lauryn Hill and stylist Law Roach sat in the crowd; the model Alton Mason and Cenat's own streaming circle, including Duke Dennis and BruceDropEmOff, walked the runway alongside professional models — Mason closed the show. Pieces went up for sale on vivetofficial.com the same way they came down the runway — a see-now, buy-now release, and most of Collection I is still being sold that way.
The label is Cenat's own, not a licensing deal with his name on it. He announced Vivet on December 6, 2025, and spent roughly nine months away from regular streaming building it, studying manufacturing, pattern-making and leather construction in Italy along the way, before returning in July. He built the company without outside investors and owns it outright — a different model from the influencer capsules that just put a name on someone else's factory run.
Collection I splits across menswear and womenswear in tiers that track Cenat's own design progression: entry pieces like a boxy hoodie, tracksuits and joggers, then heavier construction in leather trousers and tailoring, then the show pieces — floor-length fur coats worn over leather pants. Accessories carry the label's cyberpunk styling furthest: Italian leather "Cenova" bags, a tech-styled streaming backpack, monogrammed loafers and boots.
None of it is priced like merch. Vivet's own site currently lists 20 pieces running from a $20 branded journal (already sold out) to the $1,195 Raglan Zip Up Jacket, with most of the range — leather pants, leather button-downs and its two backpacks — between $550 and $995. The Electrician Boot runs $320, the Balaclava Sweater $395. That's pricing with no fashion-house history behind it yet, and it's the clearest signal Cenat is positioning Vivet as a label first and a streamer side project second.
Buyability isn't in question — current stock is live at vivetofficial.com on an ongoing basis, not locked to a single drop window. A second collection isn't dated yet. What's still open is whether the fashion industry treats Vivet as a real label the way it's pricing itself to be treated; a nine-month, self-financed buildout with zero sneakers in the lineup is a different bet than a one-off streamer capsule, and it's worth tracking on what it ships and what it charges, not on the size of Cenat's following.
Correction: An earlier version of this story said Alton Mason sat in the crowd; he walked the runway, closing the show.
