Atelier de Production et de Création, the Paris label Jean Touitou started in 1987 with a menswear collection labeled only 'HIVER 1987'; the A.P.C. label followed in 1989. It's known for minimalist clothes and raw Japanese denim, its collaborators include Kanye West, Carhartt WIP, Brain Dead and Lacoste, and it agreed in 2023 to sell a majority stake to L Catterton.
