Carpet Company's fourth drop of Season 22 goes on sale in store on Saturday, October 31, and online on Sunday, November 1. The Baltimore brand has spent the past two weeks posting it piece by piece on its own Instagram, and the list has grown well past clothing: jeans, two denim jackets, chenille jackets and hoodies, ringer tees, striped jerseys and plaid sweaters, but also metal toolboxes, stackable stools and a wall clock. No prices have been posted.

The 50 Mile Jeans

The piece the brand led with is a run of 50 pairs of what it calls 50 Mile Jeans: button-fly raw denim that, in Carpet Company's words, was "driven around Baltimore city with pure road rage", then reworked, repaired, patched and yarned, so every pair comes out different. Each has a C-Star Jeans leather tag. In the brand's photos the dark denim is streaked and bleached, with frayed hems and spots of pink and orange darning.

Next to them is the U.S.ARAB Denim Bomber Jacket, in light blue and black washes, with an American flag printed across the chest and a line of Arabic lettering underneath that reads "Carpet Company is not good". The brand's caption: "Don't wear this to the airport."

The other denim piece is a hooded denim work jacket with CARPET spelled out across the front in rhinestones.

Chenille, plaid and jerseys

The Bunny Rabbit work jacket is canvas with a chenille rabbit and CARPET lettering across the back; the brand's photos show it in light blue and tan. It comes with ringer tees carrying the same rabbit. The VARSITY TripleTone hoodies are colour-blocked in three tones with chenille CARPET lettering on the chest, and the plaid jacquard sweaters, which the brand sums up as "business in the front, party in the back", have CARPET knitted across the back. The long-sleeve striped mesh jerseys come in red and black or blue and black, with CARPET on the front and a big 22 on the back; the brand's caption: "AC….Inter, whatever you wanna call it."

Not just clothes

The rest of the drop is for the house. The S-TOOL is a fibreglass stackable stool in Jet Black, Rose, Slime, Navy and Clementine; there are metal toolboxes with CARPET across the front; and an Arabic-dial wall clock with a smooth, silent movement ("No tickin' no tockin'").

The read

Carpet Company is run by brothers Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem out of Baltimore, and this drop leans on both halves of that: the jeans are a Baltimore stunt, the bomber and the clock put Arabic front and centre, as the brand's own labels do in smaller print. The 50 Mile Jeans are the ones to watch: fifty pairs, each one different, will go fast. And with toolboxes, stools and a clock in the same drop, three of the ten pieces the brand has posted for it are for the home rather than for wearing. What it all costs is still open: Carpet Company hasn't posted a price for any of it.
