Uniqlo's fall knitwear with Francesco Risso goes on sale in the US on Thursday, October 29. UNIQLO's US page for the 2026 Knitwear Capsule Collection, called "Made for Dreaming", says it arrives online and in stores on 10/29, "Mid-Morning ET". UNIQLO's global Instagram had announced it for October 30 and said dates vary by region, so the US gets it a day early.

The line is six sweaters, all made with a 3D knit technique: a polo, a V-neck, a striped V-neck, a boat neck and a mock neck at $49.90 each, and a turtleneck at $59.90. A striped HEATTECH Beanie at $19.90 and HEATTECH Anti-Odor Socks at $7.90 fill out the accessories; UNIQLO notes that neither is 3D knit. Everything is unisex and cut to men's sizing, XXS to 3XL at the widest: the polo and turtleneck start at XS, and the mock neck stops at XL.

How they're made

UNIQLO describes Risso as "known for his poetic, expressive approach" and says the 3D knit technique "gives the collection effortless yet sculptural shapes and modern silhouettes, enhanced by bold colors." The turtleneck's product page gives the details: the 3D knit construction makes its silhouette, it's seamless at the sleeves and shoulders, and the yarn is an easy-care acrylic blended with roughly 19.5-micron Merino wool. In the campaign the colour sits in the details: contrast collar and sleeves on the polo, thin stripes across the V-neck and turtleneck.

The read

Risso's work with UNIQLO goes back to Marni x UNIQLO in 2022. He left Marni in 2025, and early in 2026 Fast Retailing made him creative director of GU, UNIQLO's sister chain. This is F.RISSO's second season: the summer debut, which Retail Insider reported in June, was bowtie blouses, dresses, flared skirts and shirts in stripes and hand-drawn prints. Fall is built around one category and one technique, at prices well under the UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON collection, where nothing passed $99.90. With GU's Engineered Garments line out the same week, Fast Retailing now has its two chains selling designer names at once. UNIQLO hasn't said how much stock there is or how long the line stays up.
