Replicas of the U.S. Ski Team's competition kits go on sale on Tuesday. The North Face's U.S. Ski & Snowboard capsule collection, 55 pieces of technical and everyday apparel and travel gear, lands on November 3 at The North Face's stores, select retailers and thenorthface.com, with Dick's Sporting Goods as its exclusive online partner. The North Face announced it on October 26, through U.S. Ski & Snowboard's newsroom, as the consumer launch of the partnership it signed in May.
The centre of it is the Comp Team kits, in men's and women's fits and two styles, sold as replicas of what the Stifel U.S. Ski Team wears, sponsor badges included. The Comp Team GORE-TEX Alpine 3L Hooded Jacket is a colour-blocked freeride shell with the U.S. Ski & Snowboard crest on the right shoulder, a wrist pass pocket, a powder skirt and underarm vents; its Side Zip Pants open along the full outer leg for boots and venting. The Freestyle pair is GORE-TEX 2L: a relaxed hooded jacket in an Elevation Stripes pattern with a removable powder skirt, and pants with inner-thigh vents and a gathered stretch waistband at the back. The replica kits are sold on thenorthface.com and in The North Face's own stores.
Around them sit T-shirts, hoodies, hats, beanies and insulation such as the Denali Fleece, all carrying the crest, and three bags in the team's colours: the Base Camp Voyager Pro travel pack, the Base Camp Duffel and the Base Camp Snow Roller for skis and boards.
An eight-year deal, first season
The North Face became U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Official Performance Apparel partner on May 12, 2026, in an eight-year deal that runs through the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Utah. "Today, we're making that same athlete-tested performance and signature product design accessible to everyone with this collection," said Chris Goble, The North Face's global brand president.
Our read: this is the football-shirt model brought to ski shells. A replica kit with the sponsor badges on it is something fans buy to say who they're behind, and the deal gives The North Face eight seasons of it, ending with a home Games. It lands two days before a very different drop from the same brand, its fourth collection with Cecilie Bahnsen on November 5, which says a lot about how wide The North Face now runs. Neither The North Face nor U.S. Ski & Snowboard has published prices in the announcement.
