LISA's PlayStation Controller Puts Her Bangs on the Touch Pad, for $84.99

PlayStation and LISA are following last year's PS5 campaign with things you can actually buy: a DualSense wireless controller – Lisa Limited Edition, and a merchandise collection she designed with PlayStation. PlayStation announced both on September 21. Pre-orders open Friday, October 2 at 10am local time, and both launch Friday, October 30.

The controller comes in Chroma Pearl, which PlayStation says is LISA's personal favorite, with her bangs and eyes printed across the touch pad, her stars, and bold "LL" lettering. It's $84.99 in the US, ¥12,480 in Japan, €84.99 in Europe and £74.99 in the UK, in what PlayStation calls highly limited quantities, direct from PlayStation and at participating retailers.

The merchandise covers apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers and a DualSense carrying case, split into two US-only assortments. One goes up for pre-order on PlayStation Direct on October 2 at 10am ET and launches October 30. The other lands on LISA's official Amazon store on October 23.

October 23 is also the release date of her new EP, Press Play, which lines the merch up with the music. "I've always loved expressing myself through music and fashion, so this collaboration gave me a new way to be creative and show a different side of myself," LISA said in PlayStation's announcement.

Limited-edition controllers have become PlayStation's version of a collab drop: the Grand Theft Auto VI pair got the same first-look treatment on PlayStation's blog this month. The difference here is that the controller is built around a person instead of a game, and it arrives with an EP and a merch run on the same calendar. If you want one, it's the October 2 pre-order you need to be on time for, not the October 30 launch.
