MF DOOM's estate marked the sixth anniversary of his death with a collection built on one drawing. DOOMSDAY 2026, a Collectionzz Artist Series release with the comic artist Sanford Greene, went on sale on October 29 at 11am ET on gasdrawls.com: posters, trading cards, skate decks, T-shirts and hoodies, all carrying Greene's picture of DOOM sitting on a heap of masks, keyboards and road signs. Complex reports that the estate announced it with Rhymesayers Entertainment, and that it's also sold through Collectionzz.com.

Greene, a professional illustrator for more than 20 years whose clients include Marvel and Warner Bros., the estate says, explained the pose in the estate's post: DOOM is "sitting like a king, absorbing his accolades and engulfed in adoration, looking back at the journey", because, as he put it, DOOM was ahead of his time and his legacy keeps growing.

Numbered, and mostly gone

Everything but the clothing and the timed print comes in a fixed edition. The $175 print comes in four foil versions of 250 each, rainbow, silver, red and gold, and green and chrome, and a $50 timed edition stays on sale until 5pm ET on Monday, November 2. The skate decks are five editions of 150, at $125 for the main deck and $150 for the foils. The trading cards are $40 a blind bag, 2,000 in all, with the odds published: a main card in half the packs, down to a green-and-chrome card in 40, a 2% chance. Tees are $60 and hoodies $95, in black, green, white and red. It's all a pre-order: the store says everything ships the week of December 7.

By October 30 the estate was posting a sold-out list: every trading card, the rainbow foil print and three of the five decks, with the rest down to low stock. By Sunday the red and gold deck had gone too, leaving the silver foil deck, three of the numbered prints, the timed print and every tee and hoodie.

DOOM died on October 31, 2020, and the estate calls the anniversary DOOMSDAY; on Halloween its post, signed by Jasmine, said his presence hasn't diminished in the six years since. Last year's DOOMSDAY release was a Knicks collection with Mitchell & Ness and New Era. Putting the art on collectables in fixed runs, with the odds printed, is the trading-card playbook rather than the merch-table one, and it fits a fan base that has spent years chasing pressings and masks.
