Carhartt WIP introduced its collaboration with Blinkerfluid on October 27, a short film captioned "Blinkerfluid for Carhartt WIP". The brand describes him as a Melbourne-based artist and designer who works across illustration, murals and graphic forms, drawing on the bold linework of 90s hip-hop, b-boy and graffiti, and says he designed graphics for a range of Fall/Winter 2026 pieces spanning T-shirts, accessories and gadgets.
Eight pieces are listed on Carhartt WIP's US site with prices. The clothing is a T-shirt at $65 and a long-sleeve T-shirt at $78, each in black or white, plus a beanie at $45 and a bandana at $75, both in a colour Carhartt WIP calls Black / Wax. The rest are objects: a canvas tote in black or natural at $65, a paper bag at $85, a mug at $35 and an engraved metal case for a BIC lighter at $55.
What's on them
The graphics are black line drawings. The long-sleeve T-shirt has two figures in tall hats on the front, one pointing, with blocky graffiti lettering down the sleeve. The tote is covered edge to edge in faces and characters, a duck among them, with "Carhartt W.I.P." written into speech bubbles, and the lighter case has a duck in a cap engraved into the metal next to a "Carhartt WIP" speech bubble. Carhartt WIP calls the duck his signature, "a fitting emblem" for this collaboration.
Carhartt WIP's product pages give the details: the T-shirts are a loose fit in 175 g/sqm organic cotton jersey, the tote is 11.4 oz Dearborn canvas, the bandana is a 70 cm cotton jacquard, the mug is porcelain and holds 350 ml, the lighter case is zinc alloy, and the paper bag comes in a dust bag.
The read
This sits at the cheap end of Carhartt WIP's collaborations. Four days after the Patta capsule, whose jacket, vest and work pants carried another brand's name, this one is mostly prints and small things, with nothing over $85, and it reads as a way to put an artist's hand on the brand's logo rather than on its workwear: in the drawings, "Carhartt WIP" becomes something a cartoon duck says. Carhartt WIP hasn't said when the pieces went on sale, how many there are, or whether stores outside its own site carry them.
