Prada is back at No. 1 in the Lyst Index. The shopping platform published its ranking for the third quarter of 2026 on October 28, and Prada climbed five places to the top, with demand for the brand on Lyst up 55% in the quarter. Chanel, which led the last ranking, slips one place to second.
The rest of the top 10: Miu Miu third (down one), Gucci fourth (up one), Saint Laurent fifth (down one), Dior sixth (down three, the biggest fall in the top 10), Burberry seventh (up one), Ralph Lauren eighth (down one), Chloé ninth (up two) and Celine tenth, up five. Bottega Veneta, Coach, Massimo Dutti, The Row and Moncler fill 11 to 15.
Why Prada, by Lyst's numbers
Lyst credits the September Milan show, whose skirts it says became "a fixture of discourse across social feeds," and what it calls a recognizable "Pradaism." The quarter's hottest product is Prada's Wish Silk Duchesse Pouch, a satin drawstring bag whose searches rose 498%. For Celine, Lyst singles out menswear, with demand up 62% year on year.
Further down, Dries Van Noten enters at 16 with demand up 27% on the quarter, and its Long Wrap Scarf-Skirt is the fifth hottest product, with demand up 383%. Diesel returns at 18 and Khaite arrives at 20, which Lyst puts down to pieces like its Danielle jeans and a collaboration with Oliver Peoples. Among the other hottest products are COS's Trullo Flap Bag at No. 2, Phoebe Philo's Peak sunglasses, Free People's Forever Young bloomer pants, Balenciaga's Rodeo bag and Cartier's Tank watch.
How it's ranked
The Index is Lyst's own measure, not sales figures. Lyst says it combines demand data from 160 million annual shoppers on its platform with signals from social media, search, editorial and AI discovery, weighted toward recent activity and leaving out interest driven purely by discounts or negative attention, over three months. Its product ranking also counts sales on Lyst.
The read
Lyst's theme for the quarter is ornament: the scarf-skirt, Conner Ives's reworked vintage, bloomer pants and the Wish pouch, set against a year ago, when The Row and COS set the tone. Prada rides that turn, but Lyst's own explanation is less about any one look than about the house: it calls the pouch "a simple, elegant expression" of Prada's appeal and says the bigger draw is the idea of Prada itself. It lands the same week as Prada's hand-drawn holiday campaign, and it pushes Miu Miu, its sister brand, down to third. The ranking measures online attention and demand, so it says more about what people wanted than about who sold the most in the quarter; the brands' own results will show whether the two match.
